Notes: The room is a large double on the first floor at the front of the house overlooking the lane, which is in a quiet cottage-y area. The garden overlooks a park and has a lovely apple tree. We are within the cricket green conservation area. House is 2 mins walk from the town centre and fair green, and 5 mins walk from a tram stop, from which getting to Wimbledon (for all the high-street retailers and regular fast trains to Waterloo) will take you 5 mins and Croydon 15 mins. We are also a 20 minute walk from Colliers Wood tube (Northern Line), and reasonably close to Mitcham Junction and Tooting overground stations. Parking is free outside the house but sometimes very cramped!! The shared living room has sofas and quite a sizable TV and there is a seperate dining room as well. The room comes with a bed, a mirror, a desk and chair, and a wardrobe plus hangers. Recent and attractive kitchen and bathroom, including bath with shower over head and we have loads of kitchen pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Sharing with two students (both 20) and one professional (22- I work in the library, I get free DVD rentals!) plus a little black and white cat. There is a choice of leisure centres close by, and Merton Abbey Mills craft village the other side of Morden Hall Park, and a Netto at the end of our road for very cheap food! Bills are roughly £30 a month plus council tax and we work it out every 3 months so that if we use less we pay less!
